A GREENER SHOW
The Government announced a widening ban on more single use plastic items which came into effect on Sunday 1 October 2023 and in addition to this, the Uffculme Show Association is committed to ensuring that the Uffculme Show & Country Fayre is as green as possible, through the reduction, re-use and recycling of waste materials with particular emphasis on the elimination of the use of plastics.
Our waste is collected by Devon Contract Waste, a company that sends nothing to landfill. The USA want to eliminate the use of single-use plastics during the show through the wide use of compostable cutlery, cups, plates and packaging.
