Trader Terms and Conditions

Pitches and Application

  • Trade pitches are based on single or multiples of 5m frontage and 6m depth; on grass; with parking for one vehicle to the side or rear of the pitch.
    • Tents / Gazebos, guy ropes and pegs to be within the boundary of the allocated pitch.
  • Preferred location requests cannot be guaranteed
    • We will do our best to accommodate such requests if we are advised at the time of booking.
  • Tables, chairs, gazebos, electrical power, and water are not supplied.
    • Please note that neither mains electricity nor WiFi are available on the show site.
  • Stalls to remain in place until the show is declared “closed”.
  • The Vehicle Pass will be emailed following confirmation of booking
    • Passes to be printed off and displayed in the vehicle to enable entry to the showground.
      • For pitch set-up by prior arrangement on Saturday 30th August between 10:00 and 16:00
      • Entry to the show on Sunday 31st August  is between 07:30 to 09:30 on Show Day.  
    • Please note:  There will  be no on-site security presence on the Saturday night through to the opening time for traders on the Sunday morning.
  • Stallholders are responsible for their property at all times 
  • Any national Covid or similar restrictions in place at the time will be strictly adhered to.
    • Please bring your own PPE.
  • For your booking application for a trading pitch to be accepted you must: –
    • Complete the Application Form.
    • Have evidence of Public Liability Insurance of at least ÂŁ1,000,000 valid for the day of the show *.
    • Complete the Uffculme Show Risk Assessment *.
    • Complete the Fire Risk Assessment If using a Generator or LPG gas *. 
    • Have a Food Hygiene Certificate – if applicable *.

*Please bring these documents with you to be available for inspection on the day.

Things you cannot do.

  • The flying of radio controlled drones is not permitted.
  • The sale of any weapons are forbidden at the show.  
  • The purchase or sale of animals at the show is prohibited.
  • The sale of fireworks, and the display of lit candles, including tea lights, is forbidden.
  • Overnight camping is not permitted. 
  • Stalls must not be dismantled until the Show is officially declared “Closed”. 
  • No Vehicle movements are allowed between 10:00 & 17:00 on show day. 
    • If essential and authorised by the Uffculme Show Association, vehicles must be escorted by an approved Steward.  

Further Terms and Conditions

  • The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel the Show due to unforeseen circumstances.  This could include Government advice or instruction (e.g. Covid restrictions) or in the event of extreme adverse weather conditions. 
  • The Organising Committee reserves the right to refuse booking applications.
    • The organisers aim to maintain trader diversity by avoiding excessive duplication within each category.  
    • Applications may be declined on this basis.
  • Bookings once accepted and paid for are non-refundable.
    • The fee is non-returnable in the event of “no-shows” where the trader does not attend.

  • All Organising committee decisions are final.

Completion and submission of the Entry Application Form signifies acceptance of all the above Terms and Conditions.

Payment

  • Payment is accepted via BACS or Card Payment.
    • Payment information will be sent along with the acceptance email.
    • Payment is due prior to the show, to guarantee your pitch, prompt payment is advised.Â
